WordPress

Wordpress LogoFor the last few months, I feel like I have been taking a crash course in WordPress development. I have created sites for work and for my family. I have learned how to write WordPress plugins. I have modified WordPress themes. When it comes to WordPress, I’m swamped.

I have slowly been coming to the realization that, when it comes to making websites, “rolling your own” is overrated. It’s like learning calculus. Once you’ve learned the power rule, why would you ever go back to doing derivatives the long way. I worked with several Content Management Systems, but I decided that, at this point in time, WordPress is the best choice for most small to medium-sized websites.

So, I’ve created this section of my personal site to document the various things I am doing with WordPress. These are mostly plugins, with a few theme-related featured mixed in. I hope people will find this useful.
